Wolfgang Haus is a film director in Hollywood.

Haus began his career directing independent German films, but by 1999, he had directed two successive $200-million blockbusters. In 1999, he was hired by Alexander Taylor to direct an action film starring Brenda Barstow as a burglar who steals a briefcase carrying two million dollars from the Las Vegas mob. Haus insisted on having two million dollars in real cash on-set to lend verisimilitude to the scene, and Global Underwriters agreed to insure the money. When the cash arrived on set by armored car, a four-man team ambushed the guards and stole the money, resulting in a shoot-out with security and police. The cash was never recovered, and production on the film was cancelled.

Haus shares his name with German director Wolfgang Petersen.
