"The Crooked Man" is a short story written by Michael Connelly and featuring LAPD detectives Harry Bosch and Jerry Edgar. The story appears in the anthology In the Company of Sherlock Holmes: Stories Inspired by the Holmes Canon, which was published by Simon & Schuster on 11 November 2014.

The story is named after Arthur Conan Doyle's 1893 Sherlock Holmes short story "The Adventure of the Crooked Man."

In the story, Bosch and Edgar go into the Doheny estates to investigate the murder of James Barclay. Deputy coroner, Art Doyle, runs Harry through the crime scene. Barclay's widow, Nancy Devoy, is also in the house along with her lawyer, Klinger, who was the one who called in the murder via 911.
