Linus Simonson, Jr. (d. Oct 2002) was the son of Linus Simonson, a former employee of BankLA in Los Angeles, California, and later one of four owners of a string of night clubs in Hollywood.

He attended Beverly Hills High School with James Oliphant, Bernard Banks, and Jimmy Fazio. He later worked for BankLA as an assistant to Vice President Gordon Scaggs. In May of 1999, he and another bank employee were enlisted to record the serial numbers of 800 one-hundred bills from a shipment of two-million dollars in cash that was to be loaned to a movie set. He devised a plan to steal the money which included altering the list of serial numbers so the cash could not be traced.

On 16 May 1999, Simonson and Raymond Vaughn killed Angella Benton as part of a misdirection strategy.

On 19 May, 1999, he and Vaughn orchestrated the theft of the money on the film's production set. Oliphant, Banks, Fazio and Cozy acted as the robbers, while Simonson and Vaughn played innocent. Retired LAPD detective Harry Bosch was present on the set because he was investigating the murder of Benton. The robbers intentionally killed Vaughn, and Simonson was inadvertently shot and wounded during the subsequent firefight with security and police.

Simonson later quit his job at BankLA and hired attorney James Foreman to sue the bank, settling out of court for $50,000. He, Oliphant, Banks, and Fazio subsequently used the stolen money to open a series of nightclubs under the corporate name 4 Kings, Inc. He and his partners were highlighted in an article in LA Times Magazine.

On 6 April 2000, Simonson shot LAPD detectives Jack Dorsey and Lawton Cross and bartender Donald Rice at Nat's bar in Los Angeles, killing Dorsey and Rice and paralyzing Cross. Simonson later bought Nat's and reopened it as one of his trendy nightclubs.

In October of 2002, when Bosch closed in on Simonson as the prime suspect, he confronted him in one of his nightclubs. Simonson and his three partners tailed Bosch to his home with the intent of killing him, resulting in another shootout. Using a shotgun, Simonson shot and killed FBI Agent Milton who was hiding in Bosch's house. He then pursued Bosch outside and and under the cantilevered deck, where he shot his partner, Fazio, who had been captured by Bosch and was talking. Simonson was then shot and killed by Bosch after a struggle for the shotgun.
