John "Ivy" Iverson was a detective with the Las Vegas Metro Police in the mid-1990s.
Iverson talked to Harry Bosch in connection with the murder investigation of Anthony Aliso. He briefed Bosch on Joey Marks and his criminal enterprises and associates in Las Vegas. He was part of the team that arrested Luke Goshen in October of 1996, along with detectives Cicarelli, Baxter, Parmelee, John Felton, and Bosch.
He is an associate of Jack Karch. In late 2000, he ran a license plate for Karch that came back registered to Jersey Paltz.
Iverson was played by Michael Patrick McGill in the second season of the streaming series Bosch.
